The Labourers’ Training Institute of New Brunswick Inc. was incorporated in June 1997. It is registered and compliant with the Private Occupational Training Act. The Labourers’ Training Institute is funded by a negotiated levy from collective bargaining between Labourers’ International Union of North America (LiUNA) - Local 900 and union employers. It is jointly managed by a Board of Directors of equal representation of Labour and Management representatives. The Labourers’ Training Institute serves the common interest of union members and union employers in the area of quality skills training and health and safety training in the province of New Brunswick.
